The 2023 Oscar Bookbinder Composition Competition is now closed. Thank you to the nearly 30 emerging composers who submitted pieces in the following categories. The final results will be announced in the coming weeks!
- Solo/Duet Class – $500 prize
- Computer Music Class – $500 prize
- Ensemble Class – $1,000 prize
Our panel of adjudicators will evaluate all entries and the winners will be announced in late December/early January. Winner(s) may be invited to have their compositions performed at the Festival Gala Concert in Guelph on February 10, 2024.
